Handmade Turkish Kilim Rug with Colorful Poms. Tribal Style Bed Cover & Wall Hanging. 4.2 x 8.6 Ft (127 x 260 cm)

This traditional handmade carpet was produced by Kurdish villagers in Turkey for daily use in third quarter of the 20th century. These splendid vintage weavings were used in various ways such as wall-hangings, bedding covers, tent dividers, curtains, floor coverings in tents and village houses and as an addition to a maiden's trousseau. Since they have not been produced for several decades, it is getting more and more difficult to find these works of textile and Folk Art we were lucky to find this particular Kilim in very good condition.
